Snowman fun

Good morning Stampers!

Well, can you tell a theme to this week's posts? This is another card from my upline Jan. Again, the Top Note Bigz Die was used - but just half of it. That means you could get two cards from it! I am all about getting the most out of my materials.
I think this is a very cute card, and could be used for about anything. Follow up thank-you for gifts, invitation to a holiday party, thinking of you, get well, etc.

The snowman is really cute and adds some fun to the card with his outstretched arms. Hmm. may have to go out and build a snowman.

As you are reading this..my exam week has ended and I am SO EXCITED to get down to my stamp room and actually put rubber to ink and paper! I hope the stamping mojo comes back quickly! But first....I need to get the tree up and decorated.

Happy Stamping!

Holiday Wishes - Enjoy

Good morning Stampers!

Well, with all the snow we are getting, I thought this card would be good to share today. This is another card shared by my upline Jan. She used the Top Note Bigz Die again and the Snowflake #2. The Snowflake #2 is die cut using SU! Ski Slope Designer Series Paper (DSP). The ribbon is from the Alpine spool which is brown felt. All of this can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog.
Hope you are keeping warm!

Happy Stamping!

Christmas list

Good morning Stampers!

This is my last week - exam week. I had high hopes that I would have presented my stats project with my group this past week, but the prof. nixed that one. Which means another week of looking at the project and fine tuning. Sometimes it is best just to get it out of your hands so you can move on.

Anyway, I am very aware that Christmas will be here in short time after next week. I thought I would post this cute idea that I received from my upline Jan. It uses the Top Note Bigz Die from SU! This is a really hot die because it keeps selling out and is on backorder again. SU! said that they are getting them in this week and will be shipping them out.
This would be fun to give to coworkers and children in a little bag of candy with a pen. Then they can make out their Christmas list. For children..it might be nice to limit them to their top ten "want" items!
Enjoy the snow and happy stamping!

No posts this week

Good afternoon Stampers!

I wanted to let you know that I will not get the chance to post any cards this week. I have two projects due and that means burning the midnight oil - unfortunately not to make cards.

I can tell you that I am getting a sneak peek to the 2009 Spring Idea book & catalog, hostess sets and Sale-a-bration mini catalog. Unfortunately, EVERY demonstrator is trying to get their sneak peek in so the website is running slow, or phoning in about the sold out Extravaganza bundles. Some of the bundles sold out quicker than I could blink. Today is the last day to order any of the Holiday Extravaganza bundles. I have already attempted to speak with a SU! representative regarding the Curly Label Punch bundle, but that is a hold of at least 10 minutes. - today.

As I learn things, I will post a comment.

Have a good week everyone!
